I had seen this painting before, but...Spellbinding! I had seen this painting before, but, like most viewers, I suppose: only superficially. This story, like the story in The Girl With the Pearl Earring, opened my eyes to yet a deeper vision, past the technical aspect of an art piece and on to the ever-present human story behind all art.
